from ANTARA, The Indonesian National News Agency Jakarta, June 13 (ANTARA) - Kerinci district as a tourist destination in Jambi province sponsored various extraordinary entertainment events like a race in a rice field during the just-concluded Lake Kerinci Festival.
In the annual festival, the organizing committee also held other unique and distinctive competitions such as an "Usoh carnival", wagons without wheels drawn by buffaloes as well as a dog race which were participated in by members of the local community.
The traditional race in a rice field was done by 30 local residents and took place in Keluru village, Keliling Danau sub-district, Kerinci district.
